Advisory Board

Professor Mansoor Akbar Kundi has been a Director at Taaleem Foundation. He is currently working as Executive Director at the ‘Higher Education Commission’ at Islamabad. His services for the promotion of education and social change in Pakistan remain remarkable. His insight and passion for educating a social change helped the foundation replicate the model successfully into other areas of Balochistan. He has been significantly contributing in arranging quality human resource for Taaleem Foundation from the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Ms. Sadiya Qureshi is an expert in the fields of training & development, human resource management, Project Management and Geographic Information System (GIS). She holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Gomal University D.I. Khan, Pakistan. She started her career with Taaleem Foundation in 1992 and left as Manager HR in 1995 to join Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL). She has worked as Senior Manager GIS in PTCL. She has Facilitated T&D – Functional & Operational Restructuring Project” of Etisalat Academy, Dubai-UAE and PTCL Training Region. She has also worked as HR Assistant at American Islamic Academy – New Jersey (USA).

Ms. Majida Khurshid is a Principal of the ‘Memon Industrial and Technical Institute’ (MITI) at Karachi has consented to support the organization in her voluntary capacity and will guide, manage, supervise and monitor the skill development related initiatives of Taaleem Foundation and its Vocational Training Institutes.

Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Khan is an accomplished media professional with an academic background of community health and specialization in development sector. He is also a Quran scholar, who worked in Egypt for five years representing Pakistan as a diplomat. He is presently working at BISP in Islamabad.

Dr. Mubashir Mushtaq Daha is ​a mid-level manager in NAVTTC ​(Prime Minister’s Office). He has done his MBBS from Nisht​a​r Medical College Multan and Master of Science in Public Health from Health Services Academy (HSA) Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He has an excellent experience ​i​n ​project management, M&E and coordination. He is supporting the organization in his voluntary capacity as Member of the Advisory Board. He ​looks after the Institutional Linkages ​in the sectors of Education, ​Public ​Health and Skill Development.

Mr. Syed Tabarak Shah is an energy sector expert with rich experience of work with USAID and other development agencies. He excels in reaching out, communications, strategic linkages and business partnerships. He is advisor to many corporate entities on business development. He is the Managing Partner of T&Z Associates and the ‘Advisor to Taaleem Foundation on CSR Support’.

Mr. Amir Younus is an Advisor on Business Development. With an engineering background, he has emerged as a leading businessman, working in Pakistan and UK, having offices in a number of countries. He is the founder CEO of Health and Hygiene Limited, UK. His contributions are commendable; and he is passionate about whatever he does.​

Mr. Humayun Sabir Khan is a former Director in the Local Government Department, Government of Balochistan; and a former CEO of Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP) in Quetta. Having a vast experience of working in development sector for long, he looks after the organization as its Regional Head in Balochistan.
